Most composite and uPVC doors and windows are fitted with a cylinder lock. Due to their design, it risks a weak point on the cylinder, making them prone to lock snapping. Once a standard cylinder has been snapped, the door or window can be quickly unlocked. In addition to lock snapping, lock drilling and picking techniques are being used more frequently.
